The hares chose a familiar location but, although we've been there several times, the trails are always different due to the myriad paths in the area. This time the runners trail went across Chompol Road and back. The hares told the runners that the trail would be along the road for a while and which way to turn when they came to the road. Tinks, true to form, got his left and right turns mixed up, which meant he and Returner No Name Alan arrived back about 10 minutes after all the other runners. Did the chalk arrows on the road perhaps get washed out by rain? There'd been a lot but, fortunately, it stayed dry for the run and for the circle, which was going very smoothly until we came to next week's hare. Because of all the complications of the upcoming H2H3 17th Anniversary weekend to be explained, particularly the pub crawl, this must have been the longest ever conflab before down-downs were actually drunk... for hares, co-hares, pub crawl organisers and anyone else who'd stepped into the circle to have their two penn'orth.

GPS scan by Tinks
Hash Run (total trail) set by Pussy Peddler & Rubber Duck was 9.5 km and took me and Alan 99:35 min.
Elevation: Min 41 m, Max 79 m, Gain 121 m, Loss 121 m
Slope: Ascent 7.5%, Descent 15.9%
Start to R/W Merge: 6.3 km in 67:02 min.
This included going off trail twice, 0.9 km first time and 0.75 km second time in a total time of 18:16 min.
R/W Merge to Finish: 3.2 km in 32:15 min.
If Alan and I had not gone off trail then actual trail would have been 7.85 km in 81:19 min.
As the runners and walkers departed in opposite directions at the start, I am not able to provide a walkers total distance.

I suspect this may be the short walk version, I don't know because I missed the split sign.
Total trail for me 5.8km.
